Beekeepers since 1996, La Pollinosa is a passion that has become a profession.

Nomads in search of flowers, never under the same sky, to produce honey and pollen while offering a precious contribution to support biodiversity.
Curious to explore a wonderful world, since 2011 we have been selecting Ligustica queen bees, improving beekeepers' work and hive resilience.

Our Hive

We are CONAPI beekeepers: we supply our honey, pollen, and propolis productions to the cooperative that, for over 40 years, has been the leading producer of organic honey in Europe.

A small quantity is kept for on-farm sales and for a few selected retailers near us.
Proud to be among the founding members of AISSA, the Italian Association for the Selection and Safeguarding of Apis mellifera, a young and dynamic organization dedicated to fostering the culture of selection and enhancing the expertise of its breeders in a constantly evolving environment.
Just like the bees, feeling like guardians of our land makes us an active and proactive part of the newly formed Montecucco Organic District—a virtuous network of farms, institutions, and communities promoting sustainable agriculture and a healthier, richer environment.
La Pollinosa is registered in the Ligustica section of the National Register of Italian Bee Breeders.

The conformity of our breeding lines to the Ligustica subspecies is certified by annual analyses carried out by CREA.
All our productions are certified organic: for us it means preserving the fertility of the soil, promoting its healthiness and supporting its fertility through the work of bees, reducing the use of plastic and disposable materials by committing ourselves to reuse and recycling, taking care of the biological rhythms of our hives and their health with treatments based only on natural substances, offer nutritious, healthy and fair products.
